Interpersonal Communication
DiSC®
Personal Profile Workshop
Participants complete the profile online
and then participate in a half-day or full-day workshop with individual
and group activities to enhance their understanding of their individual
profiles and interactions with others. Each participant receives a
personalized 20-page report explaining his or her dominant behavioral
style(s) with strengths and weaknesses along with suggestions for how to
best interact with others whose behavioral styles are different.
DiSC®
Culture Report Workshop
Individual personal profiles are combined
into a team Culture Report, including a graph that visually maps the
behavioral patterns of the team members. This overview shows differences
and similarities of the team members, highlighting possible points of
conflict and suggesting strategies for enhancing effectiveness. This
report serves as a starting point for dialogue and planning that can
increase team effectiveness and productivity. In the workshop, group
discussions and small group work help team members strategize about how
to work together more efficiently and effectively.
Effective Communication Skills
Introduces different conversational styles
and how men and women communicate differently.
The session is designed
to reduce “blind spots” in understanding how others perceive us and the
impact those perceptions have on our career goals. The presentation and
activities will focus on listening to understand, communication
pitfalls, choosing neutral language and why it’s important, standing up
for yourself in a positive and constructive way, and making yourself
heard at meetings. As part of the workshop, each participant will
develop and Individual Action Plan. This workshop can be adapted for
single-gender groups.
